I was down with this idea since inception and I’m real happy to hear how great the results are. So, in case you haven’t heard the word… check it out. It’s surf friendly

Everyone’s favorite electronic connoisseur, Muscles, is venturing out of his lab of all things trance to hypnotize us once more. After melting the minds of dance-fiends everywhere, Muscles new offering ‘The Lake’ is a murky voyage through the best 90s daze-club throw downs had to offer; an epic 6am tempest. The track is accompanied by an aesthetic masterpiece (also known as a music video) directed by Jaron Albertin, who encompasses Muscles’ poignant everything’s with a lesbian kiss, a pool party and a gas mask…no easy task!
The Lake will be released digitally and as a CD single in July with remixes coming courtesy of Kid Kenobi, White Williams and Jokers Of The Scene! Dive in people…
So the reason the blog has been a bit inactive is because I’m moving to California. Yessir. Bay Area to be where it’s at. Although I am Drt through and through and Jrzy is home to all that has made me who I am, I am launching a new venture this year HQ’d in San Rafael CA.
SO, till I gets my ass there end of May and a bit afterwards… DrDrt is gonna be a bit spotty yo. BUT, it will come back strong and with flavor. Till then, I got some tunes for ya that I just had to share…

So a couple weeks ago my homie from socal drt land drops me an email about tossin up this pre-release called KNUCKLE UP by DGAF. At first I was a bit baffled why, but after I checked into these cats all I found was sick drt skate headz who blast rap vox like bong hitz and share the same affinity I have with skullz. So, I agreed
So homie from socal drt land suggested why not let the drtsters mangle up the vox into something totally lifted and nasty? Not a bad idea I thought. Well, here it is folks - remix these vox into something you know is DRTY and my space spliff homie will hook the drtiest remix up with the following for showin luv:
- Vandalized DGAF & King Spade CDs, posters and King Spade DVD
- Filthy sick t-shirts and stickers
- Share ur remix on DGAF MySpace for all 38,000 heads to hear
- MySpace bulletin blasts
- My spliff buddy will also pass it on to 40,000 DGAF fanz via the Suburban Noize e-list
So download Knuckle Up and the Knuckle Up Vox Only Version and email your finished remixes to me before April 14th to pass on. Hit me off at knuckleup @shanefontane.com
How’s that sound? Ferkin’ get your kick drums out and don’t forget to make dat bass piss your neighbors off!

Apparently I say “FUCK” quite often. Apparently I use it as an exclamation. Apparently I grew up in North Jerz and don’t give a FUCK:)
And with all of that grand fascination with what must be one of my favorite words in the English vocab I present to you a tune I wrote for a few friendz over at what I like to call “The Dumb Cave.”

Homie from Melbourne Australia, Miami Horror, super classed this remix of Grafton Primary’s “I Can Cook.” That’s all I really can say. I don’t know anything else about this guy except this track is hot. Check it out. Joey - hook me up with some digs on these guys
Note: Miami Horror is also a movie from 1985. I never seen it. I’m just sayin - coincidence?

And they’re back again - FAMOUS FRIENDS is blowing out ear drums and causing a dance floor ruckus in Brooklyn once again! This time you can find this crew of misguided youth runnin’ rampant at Death by Audio as they showcase Le Castle Vania, Purple Crush, Sweatshop Labor, Anamanaguchi and my homeboy Bradley D. I have to admit, these famous people are growing on the Drt. They throw fun parties that support the scene. If you haven’t dropped by before, this Friday night would be a great time to start.

Yes yes y’all this is it! Fresh from New Jersey’s Shane Fontane is a new full force DIY ElectroCrunk jam ghetto blasting the delicious in yo face vocal performance of Berlin’s captivating Elle P. WOW! Edit that for a remix folks
I’m not one to sit here and run on about the sound of the track, but give it a listen and I’m sure you will find it SEXY, HARD and DRTY!
